Best New Hybrid Vehicle: Lexus LS 600h Wins The Vote

If you search the Internet for best new hybrid vehicle you might be able to locate a few good options. One that really stands out from the pack, the Lexus LS 600h (2008) has a number of notable features that elevates it to the top of any list of best new hybrid vehicles. According to expert reviewers of new hybrid vehicle models, the Lexus LS scores on a number of counts.

Wonderful Fuel Economy

The Lexus LS has outstanding fuel economy and its emissions are almost so low that you would say that there is none at all. Features such as an excellent stereo system also helps to raise its appeal and value and there is also the very useful life traffic reporting that comes integrated with a good navigational system that helps you reach your destination without much fuss or bother.

The only downside to this best new hybrid vehicle is that it may have decent looks but hardly anything to make heads turn around. This of course is a cosmetic factor because the performance is excellent and it is still a classy vehicle that comes with every great technological feature that you would expect from a best new hybrid vehicle.

If you are still not convinced about the Lexus LS being the best new hybrid vehicle then look at the competition. The Toyota Camry is comfortable and quite a decent sedan at that. It also has numerous technologically advanced features and good fuel economy. But, it will struggle to give you high quality performance and its GPS navigational system (not a standard feature) does not respond too well to voice commands. It could very easily make you lose your bearings and even when you alternate between power sources there is that uncomfortable jerkiness in your ride that you don’t want.

The Lexus can beat the Camry on looks and on fuel economy. If you had to really choose between these two, then the best new hybrid vehicle is certainly going to be the Lexus that will provide far superior performance and better overall comfort as well.

The one thing that vehicle manufacturers have not been able to do is bring down new hybrid vehicle prices to a level where everyone will want to buy a hybrid vehicle. The fact is that when you compare prices of new conventional automobiles with those of new hybrids the former will work out to be cheaper and the reason for this is that there are not enough new hybrid vehicles being manufactured to ensure lower costs prices.
